The thing with hobbyist and DIY enthusiast is that they like to repair (or take apart) stuff at home or at the workplace. Being the absolute geeks that we are, we want to know how everything works and repair them with style. Be it household items, computers or TVs, we gotta fixem to show the wife/GF what macho men we are and stay adorable. With that thought, NASA scientists (kidding again) invented the All-purpose, fix (or rather some say "hack") everything Sugru Hacking Putty. 
From fixing outer casing of our electronics, cracked pipes, exposed wires, no problem. What differentiates A+B putty and Sugru Hacking Putty is that it's made of a silicone-like material so it's soft to the touch and flexible to a certain extend, so it can be molded in to cushion for pens and handle for hammer too! The package comes in 12 packs with different colors. Just rip them up, and mold it in to the desired shape. Apply it and let it sit for 24hours. The silicone putty will dry and cure at room temperature, and can withstand -60deg C to 180deg C (-76deg F to 356deg F)! Sugru fix-all putty is also water-prove and very durable since it's silicone based. Now our fancy devices will be even more fancier and colorful more than ever. Go Geeks!
